1. Who and What
MATERRA is a platform for private communities. A community lives within it: there are rooms—sections where members message each other; channels—feeds where only the creator can post; a section with materials; direct messages, and notifications about new content. The platform owner and developer is Oleg Minkin (Argentina), [email protected] By using the platform, you accept these terms.
A community may be hosted on its own web address rather than on the platform's address. This changes nothing: the application is provided by MATERRA, and these terms apply regardless of the address you used to access it.
The community you have joined is run by its creator—the person or organization that brought it together. The platform provides them with space and tools but is not a party to your relationship with them.
2. For Whom
For adults only. Your account is personal: access cannot be transferred, sold, or shared. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
3. What Access Provides
A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform. For the member, it is free of charge: the platform does not have its own payment system, does not accept payments, and does not act as an intermediary in financial transactions.
Registration is via a link from the community creator. The terms of participation in the community, its price, renewal, and refunds are set by the creator, and payments are made directly to them. Payment-related questions should be addressed to them, not to the platform.
If a community ceases to operate on the platform, access to it is terminated. In this case, financial settlements with members are handled by the creator: the platform has not received any participation fees and does not issue refunds. Members are notified about the community's closure as soon as it becomes known.
The relationship between the platform and the community creator is the subject of a separate agreement between them; it does not apply to members and does not alter these terms.
4. Rules
The following are prohibited on the platform:
- aggression, insults, discrimination, bullying, pressure, manipulation;
- advertising, self-promotion, or soliciting audiences in other people's communities;
- content belonging to others without the right to publish, as well as illegal content;
- taking conversations and materials from a private community outside—by forwarding, publishing, quoting, or taking screenshots;
- hacking, automated data collection (scraping), or circumventing access restrictions.
The prohibition on taking conversations outside does not prevent you from showing them where necessary to protect your rights: to a lawyer, a doctor, or a government body.
A community creator may establish their own rules of conduct within their community. These apply in addition to, and do not supersede, these terms.
5. Your Content
The rights to the content you submit remain yours: the platform does not become their owner and does not use your messages and files for any other purpose. By submitting them, you grant permission to store and display them to the members of the room where you sent them—solely for the platform's operation. You also confirm that you have the right to publish it.
6. Community Materials
Texts, audio, video, and other materials posted in a community belong to its creator or their licensors. You may not copy, distribute, resell, or use them outside the platform without written permission. The design, logic, and code of the platform itself belong to its owner.
If you believe that content on the platform infringes upon your rights or the law, please write to [email protected]: specify what it is, where it is located, and what the violation is. A response will be provided within 5 business days; if the complaint is justified, the material will be removed. The person who posted it will be notified of the decision and can dispute it by the same email.
7. Nature of Content
The community creator is responsible for what happens and is published within the community. The platform does not pre-screen materials or endorse their content.
The materials and communication are for informational, cultural, and creative purposes and do not constitute a medical, psychological, psychotherapeutic, religious, or educational service, diagnosis, or therapy. Decisions made based on them are taken by the member independently and at their own risk.
8. Platform Operation
The platform is provided 'as is'. It is maintained in working order, but continuous and error-free operation is not guaranteed: technical pauses, updates, and changes to the feature set are possible.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the platform owner is not liable for indirect damages or lost profits, nor for the actions of community creators or other members. Nothing herein limits liability that cannot be limited by law, nor does it waive consumer rights.
As participation is free, the platform owner's direct liability to a member shall in no case exceed the amount received from that member.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time.
Access may be suspended or terminated for violating these terms. You will receive an email about this, stating the reason and, if the violation can be remedied, a period for correction. In case of a serious violation—such as a security threat, illegal content, or harm to other members—access is terminated immediately, and an email follows.
The decision can be disputed by writing to [email protected], and a response will be provided within 5 business days. Your messages and files are not deleted upon suspension; you can request a copy of your data.
A community creator can block your access to their community according to their own rules; this does not affect your platform account.
11. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, the country where the platform owner resides. If you are a consumer, you retain the rights and protections afforded by the laws of your country of residence.
We first try to resolve disputes through correspondence: please write to [email protected], a response will be provided within 30 days.
12. Changes
The date at the top indicates the latest revision. Significant changes will be announced within the platform; by continuing to use it, you accept the new version.
